Maybe adulthood is this thing, this creation

On one side beautiful strips and colors

Sewed in a perfect line

Another side full of strings and knots and messes hidden away from all but the few

Sandwiched and sewn together, never parted again

A beautiful creation, a mess and a riot of string, all bound together in this life, isn't this everything
